Carlin is a beautiful black and tan bitch. She has a very correct front for the miniature longhaired dachshund, and looks to have a very promising future. She is out of AM/Can CH Belgate's Cold Fusion ML "Colby" and AM/Can CH Car-Rae's Baby Ruth ML "Ruthie."

Colby is a gorgeous miniature dachshund male with great front assembly, keel and awesome temperament that he passed to his progeny. Ruthie is every handler's dream dog. She had not only the looks, but the attitude that put her in the group ring throughout her career.

Carlin is an example of correct use of AHT-PRA testing for the miniature longhaired dachshund. Ruthie tested "affected," so we had the chore of finding a male that would not only compliment her structure, but had to be AHT-PRA "Clear". Colby met all of these requirements. This breeding enabled us to keep an "affected" bitch in the breeding program and not create affected puppies.
